Cape Fiolent - one of the fabulous places of the Crimea. It is located 10 kilometers from Balaklava towards Sevastopol. Their bizarre shapes make the landscape a truly unique natural creation.

A huge number of caves and grottoes, clear water, fresh sea air make it an unquestionably unique place on the planet.

One of the best legends from the first name of Cape Fiolent - Cape Georgievsky to account for 800 years of our era, and it was told by the Greeks. According to legend, the Greek ship passing by Crimea fell into a terrible storm, the storm dragged the whole sky from edge to edge, the waves rose to the sky, and salvation seemed simply impossible. The sailors, in despair and panic, hovered all over the ship, and the ship seemed to shiver from side to side, the last moment was so close and so clear that many sailors began to pray and confess to the Almighty. Many prayers were addressed to St. George, the patron of travelers and warriors. And then a miracle happened - the heavens opened the clouds and the sea began to beat the ship to the shore with an easy current. It was Cape Fiolent. The sailors descended to the ground, knew exactly who to thank, and after examining the nearest territories found an icon in the rock of St. George, and in 891 a temple with caves was built in honor of miraculous salvation and in gratitude for the good deeds of St. George the Victorious.
